Can You Have Too Many Plants?

Is it possible to have too many plants in your house? I've gone mad. Literally, my house looks like Kew Gardens. I love it but my husband says I've gone overboard. 'No more plants Abbie'. OK, sure I say as I pop off to the local garden center for the third time this week!
